About
My love of children is the biggest influence in my work, and since having my son, I am constantly seeing them in a new light, and finding new ways to express the journey of childhood. The subject matter I work with cross the lines of both my fine art work and commissioned works. My images point to a classic influence, with a modern aesthetic, while my approach has the eye of an artist and the touch of a mother. I have a bachelor’s degree in photography, and a continuing education background in arts and education, both obtained in Israel. After completing my degree, I worked as a first assistant to a leading Israeli fashion photographer for 2 years, and have been working as a professional photographer for the last 15. I relocated to NY in 2003 and since, have primarily been building my family, children and still life portfolio. My work has been recognized by local and international magazines such as: Dailycandy, Best Bets, Milk Magazine and many more. My artwork has been exhibited extensively, including the Haifa Meuzeum, Lauzaun Meuzeum in Switzerland as well as in New York City. It is held in the collections of major institutions and private collections and has been chosen to be part of the “Future Images” book. I live with my son, daughter and husband in Fort Greene, Brooklyn.
